HOLIDAY IN THE HEART OF CHAMONIX
La Chaumière Mountain Lodge is just ten minutes’ walk from Chamonix’s town centre and ten minutes to the picturesque Lac des Gaillands.
The train and bus stops are just 50 metres away. Both are easy to use and will deliver you to each of the different ski areas or sporting venues in the Valley. If you come by car, the hotel has its own parking which is free for guests.

Use the train and bus in the Chamonix Valley with your Guest Card
Carte d'Hôte - Guest Card
The Guest Card will be issued to you free of charge on your arrival at La Chaumière. This card entitles you to free rail travel on the SNCF Mont-Blanc Express network, for journeys in the Valley between Servoz and Vallorcine. The card also entitles you to discounts on bus transport and preferential rates on sports and cultural facilities, as well as on certain car parks.
Mont Blanc Express Train
The SNCF Mont-Blanc Express line serves all the villages from Saint-Gervais-Le Fayet to Martigny (Switzerland), passing through Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix, Argentière and Vallorcine. The Guest Card entitles you to free travel on internal routes between Servoz and Vallorcine during its period of validity. Trains run approximately every hour. Our train stop, 50 metres from the hotel, is called "Les Moussoux".
How to Use: I board the train and present my valid Guest Card to the train conductor.

Bus - Chamonix Mobilité
The Chamonix Mobilité bus network serves the whole valley and the ski areas. The guest card gives you access to discounts of up to 50% and more on transport tickets. The nearest bus stop is just 50 metres from the hotel and chalet and is called "Les Pècles Moussoux".

Chamonix's five ski areas are accessible by car, bus or train. It takes between 5 and 20 minutes depending on the location chosen.
